This PTA-sponsored celebration will take place October 3rd – 7th, 2011. Our fun-filled week gives students a chance to experience what life was like in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s.
Thursday, at Presenters’ Day, classes will have the opportunity to participate in many hands-on learning stations such as: Square-Dancing, Butter-Making, Natural Dyeing and Wool Spinning. Also, there will be a Real Blacksmith, Story Tellers, Music of the Fiddle and Autoharp…and SO MUCH MORE!
Friday evening, the school opens to friends and families for a Chili Supper, Hayride, Indoor and Outdoor Games, Panning for Gold, Kettle Corn, as well as a Theme Basket Raffle!
