She told us that we show a negative net income this year, since we are using funds from last year (for Smart Boards). She reported that we paid for 3 students too attend 4th Grade Camp and that we were able to provide for the presenters out of our budget. In addition, we received a check for $876 for Box Tops. This money will now come to us/ PTA (instead of Boone Trail).

He told us that we are still waiting on information from the state on the foundation formula for next year (the work session ends next Friday). He gave us several scenarios and told us that he believes we will see the greatest impact from the cuts, since we are the fastest growing district in Missouri.

Under NEW BUSINESS, Tara Henley told us that there would be an audit meeting at 530pm in the library on May 17th. The audit will be conducted prior to the General Meeting that night (at 7:00pm). She also reminded us that notebooks for any committee chairs were to be completed and handed over to the new committee chairs.
Tara reminded us of the last General Meeting of this school year, which was scheduled after the audit on Monday, May 17th. The meeting will begin at 7pm and we will recap and celebrate some of our accomplishments this year. In addition, she reminded us of the Field Day events on the 24th and 25th and that we will need volunteers to pop popcorn both days. She also told us that June 1st-August 6th there would be construction in the front hallway to connect the office to the entrance of the school. Next year, all persons entering the school will have to go through the office.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:000pm. The next meeting will be Thursday, June 10th at 3:30pm at Quail Ridge Park (at the playground off to the left in the back). This is a change from the original date of June 3rd.
